Completion of the disposal of the majority of Misys' controlling shareholding in Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, Inc. (Allscripts)

Further to its announcement on 26 August 2010, Misys plc is pleased to announce the closing of the additional buy back of 5,313,807 shares of Allscripts common stock for which Misys has now received aggregate sale proceeds of approximately US$101.6 million. This completes the last step in the disposal of Misys' majority of its controlling shareholding in Allscripts.

Misys has now received a total of approximately US$1,188 million in cash for this disposal and now holds 19,005,621 shares representing 10.2 per cent of the outstanding shares of Allscripts common stock.
