Raleigh USA/Burgess Hill UK, 29 October 2004.  Misys Healthcare Systems is pleased to announce today that the Saudi Arabia National Guard Health Affairs (NGHA) went live with Misys CPRTM electronic patient record (EPR) clinical information system on September 29. NGHA is a multi-site healthcare facility that includes the King Fahad National Guard Hospital, a 691-bed facility part of the King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh. King Fahad Hospital boasts the largest trauma centre in the gulf region, a major cardiac care centre, a leading ambulatory care centre and four large primary care clinics. NGHA also has hospitals and primary care centres in Al Khobar in the Eastern Province and Jeddah in the Western Province. Encompassing such an extensive network of sites, this project represents one of the largest clinical information management system implementations in the Middle East.
