Misys Appoints Kelly L. Ross Senior Vice President of North American Sales for Hospital Systems
Veteran Sales Expert Brings 23 Years of Industry Experience to Drive Sales and Interoperability
RALEIGH, N.C. - October 31, 2006 - Misys Healthcare Systems, a market leader in healthcare IT, today announced the appointment of Kelly L. Ross as senior vice president of North American Sales for hospital systems. Ross will build on the growth of U.S. sales for the hospital business unit and continue to drive interoperability in healthcare thRough the adoption of Misys Connect, which provides a Web-based data sharing solution that allows health care providers real-time access to patient health records.

For six years prior to joining Misys, Ross was Vice President of U.S. Commercial Sales for SAS Institute, a leading supplier of enterprise intelligence and analytic solutions. In this role, Ross was responsible for field and inside sales, as well as strategic alliances, channel development and consulting services, with revenue responsibility for more than $500 Million. During her time at SAS, Ross also worked as a national accounts manager and as the regional director for the Rocky Mountain Regions where she increased revenue an average of 40 percent per year.
