Misys Healthcare Systems Signs Significant Agreement with Rowan Regional Medical Center

Tucson, Arizona, February 7, 2002 - Misys Healthcare Systems (formerly Sunquest Information Systems, Inc.) a market leader in healthcare IT and a division of Misys plc, announced today that it has signed a major agreement with the North Carolina-based Rowan Regional Medical Center to license a comprehensive suite of clinical information system products. The contract covers the implementation of the Misys Laboratory™ Information System (LIS) product line, CoPathPlus®, and Misys Clinical Event Manager™ (CEM). Rowan Regional Medical Center chose Misys products to help their institution effectively integrate data, create workflow efficiencies, reduce errors, alert healthcare professionals of conflicts, and disseminate clinical and administrative information throughout an integrated delivery network.
