Misys Healthcare Systems Signs Deal in Utah

Raleigh, NC - March 13, 2002 - Misys Healthcare Systems (formerly Medic Computer Systems), a market leader in healthcare IT, today announced a deal with Planned Parenthood Association of Utah. The agreement provides the organization with the Misys Vision/Optimum™ system, a complete package of patient management, administrative and managed care applications.

Association representatives say Misys gets the gold for providing products that address their specific needs. "We really value the customization of the product," says Penny Davies, the association's Director of Clinical Services. "With Misys Vision/Optimum, we're not buying a 'canned' product. We get to develop it. "
Davies says that Planned Parenthood of Utah's technological needs required a product that would position them well for future growth. And she says, " The stability of the company behind the product is invaluable."
"We did our research in selecting a system," Davies adds. "Misys is a well-known company with a solid history and great references. That certainly factored into our decision to select a Misys Healthcare Systems product."
Planned Parenthood Association of Utah is set to go live with Misys Vision/Optimum in July 2002.
