Misys Healthcare Systems Announces Major Agreement with Lawrence Memorial Hospital

Misys Continues as Preferred Hospital LIS, Anatomic Pathology System Provider
Tucson, Arizona, May 8, 2002 - Misys Healthcare Systems (formerly Sunquest Information Systems, Inc.), a market leader in healthcare IT, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Lawrence Memorial Hospital, located in Lawrence, Kansas. Creating a new relationship between the hospital and Misys, the contract covers the system acquisition and software maintenance of Misys Laboratory™ and CoPathPlus®. The clinical suite of lab products will streamline Lawrence's laboratory processes while efficiently managing all of its business activities.
