Industry Leader to Deploy Integrated Misys Homecare Software Solution

The agreement provides the organization with Misys HomecareTM, a comprehensive, industry-leading software solution designed exclusively for hospice, home health and private duty organizations.
To comply with upcoming federal regulations and deadline requirements mandated by HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act), Hospice of Michigan began searching for an IT solution more than two years ago. The company required a fully integrated business and clinical system capable of supporting the backbone of its business, linking nearly all departments, from patient care to finance; medical records to volunteer services. Additionally, Hospice of Michigan needed a solution that was sophisticated enough to meet todays complex federal requirements, but flexible enough to address increased patient care needs in the future.
