Misys Homecare Top-Ranked for Home Health Technology
Misys plc (Misys) today announces that its Healthcare Systems division, a market leader in healthcare IT, has achieved top-ranking in a major industry report. Misys Homecare™, the integrated business management and patient care solution, was named the top-ranked home health software product, according to the recently issued “Top 20 KLAS Mid-year Report Card.” Misys achieved the highest ranking out of several well-known companies mentioned in the report, thanks in large part to its commitment to providing top quality products and unparalleled customer service.
KLAS Enterprises is a leading healthcare industry research and consulting firm, specializing in independently monitoring and reporting on the performance of Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) vendors and their products. The HIT vendor performance data is gathered directly and confidentially from healthcare provider organizations. The report examines several key facets of customer-vendor relationships, and Misys achieved high rankings in all areas. In particular, customers chose Misys as the organization that most “lived up to expectations,” the one with the most “fair contract” and “highest commitment to technology.” Customers also felt that Misys led the competition in several other categories, placing first in “Money’s Worth,” “Contracting Experience,” and “Support Costs as Expected,” among others.

Sylvia Linardi, Project Manager, Home Health & Hospice Systems, Sharp HealthCare, said:
"One of the reasons we at Sharp HealthCare chose Misys Healthcare Systems over similar vendors is the fact that the company is highly in tune with the needs of clinicians providing care to patients in their homes. This understanding encompasses everything from Misys Healthcare Systems’ technology, which addresses many of the challenges clinicians face on a daily basis, to its people, who have an in-depth understanding of their customers needs and use that knowledge to develop better solutions. This, in addition to the outstanding clinical & financial integration, is what led Sharp to select Misys Healthcare Systems ahead of the others."
