The Misys BankFusion Universal Banking solution is a customer-centric universal banking system providing full universal banking functionality for both front and back office deployment. It covers a wide range of retail banking instruments such as lending, deposits, and payments in addition to supporting business and enterprise banking requirements including treasury and trade services.
It includes an integrated General Ledger application that can be used for bank-wide financial management or alternatively, can act as a product ledger and integrate with an existing enterprise GL solution.
The solution incorporates an innovative process capability to allow more flexible management of user interactions and the automation of greater levels of straight-through processing. The design supports 24x7 banking operations, removing any of the traditional systems constraints around user ‘down-time’ during end of day processing.
Misys BankFusion Universal Banking is a Universal Banking application constructed with the BankFusion Platform. It has a service-oriented architecture with an abstracted data model that provides a high level of hardware, database and operating system independence.
The system is highly scalable and extremely flexible for product and business process configuration, deployment and maintenance. Misys BankFusion Universal Banking provides an integrated design / configuration environment to enable a bank to create / augment financial products and associated fulfilment processes more efficiently and quicker then conventional systems. It also provides a flexible integration capability to other systems and channels.
A combination of the architecture and design tooling enables BankFusion Universal Banking to deliver design-time flexibility with scalable run-time performance.
