The new BankFusion Midas solution delivers a customer-centric system, with the workbench providing you with unprecedented opportunities to customise functions and workflows precisely to their requirements and practices.

As a Midas user, this brings you the advantage of the rapid provision and deployment of new functions, tailored to the bank’s requirements, whilst at the same time reducing the risk of reconciliation issues with other systems.

BankFusion is our unique, process-driven, SOA, J2EE platform which takes process models and generates business applications. The Midas components are built in a host agnostic manner, allowing new developments not only to be used within Midas, but also by your other non-Misys systems.

The BankFusion Midas Workbench lets you build new services as well as define your own screen flow. A service can be a single API, a combination of existing APIs, or your own green-field service. Each service that is built using the Workbench conforms to the tried and tested standards of Midas , respecting your environment and maintaining system integrity. When deployed, you can define your own screen-flow, including the order in which the fields are presented, which fields are mandatory, optional or defaulted as well as what validation, over and above Midas standard validation, is applied.

The Workbench provides you with the flexibility you need to respond rapidly to changing markets, by letting you have access to the common components (APIs) and by including your own business rules, such as ensuring all critical data is captured by making fields mandatory for input, or by only making certain products available in certain currencies, whereby the user can only select from a list of valid currencies. All of this can be achieved in an intuitive and visual way through the use of wizards, tick boxes and drag-and-drop functionality.

When you have completed building the service, the Workbench will automatically generate the code as well as automatically package the service, so that it can be installed using standard Midas installation procedure – all saving valuable IT time. It combines existing functionality aligned with your own processes and business rules, completely integrated with your existing Midas environment, as well as being able to consume this service by other SOA applications and workflow engines.
